  1. messi is still a top player…yes he isnt as outrageous as he was when he was young but still very good. he has contributed plenty to psg and anyone who actually watches will realize his taken a backseat there. Mentally he doesnt want to be there…his performances for argentina is way dif…he takes charge but in psg his just doing a job. barcas attack aint so hot and they need him ..especially when theres an older lewandowski

  2. Honestly, it's funny to me. Because they say that as if Barcelona will have a 100% chance of winning the Champions League next year and only the arrival of Messi can change that. For two years in a row, the club has been eliminated from the Champions League and they cannot even win the Europa League. The club is in financial difficulties. They can't even register some players. In addition, they have debts that need to be repaid soon. Messi has never played under Xavi, and you shouldn't judge players by their PSG performance, because then it turns out that Mbappe and Neymar also play badly. There the problem is not in these players (but in the club's management, coaching staff and sports director). For some reason, Messi plays well in the Argentina national team. In terms of play, he can still be useful to the club. And in financial terms, Messi will be a salvation for Barcelona. Sale of jerseys, tickets, other souvenirs, advertising, TV rights, tourists, etc. Still, we must not forget that football is not only players, matches, coaches, tactics, trophies, etc. It is also money. Without them, there would be nothing. For example, Man City and Real Madrid are good with money and doing well. They are able to hire good coaches, buy top players, etc. So I think both Barcelona and Messi will be happy together.

  3. It’s funny how ESPN keeps pushing this “Xavi doesn’t really want Messi, it’s just what he has to say” agenda.

P.S. “He hasn’t done anything at PSG in two years” 😂.

  4. Once again Stevie Nichols proves to be another seat warmer with very little knowledge on whats happening today.

First of all geniuses, Messi again was forced to leave Barca in the first place. No warning no clear message just a last minute screw up. From a competitive standpoint Messi went to the wrong club but he made himself feel better that at least hes got friends at PSG. So if u wanna blame Messi blame him for that.

Second, Messi can still bring more to the table at Barca or anywhere for that matter coz he’s still the best. Don’t forget if anyone knows Barca and its DNA it is Messi and Xavi knows this just like everyone else

  5. Maybe I missed it. Did ESPN FC ever show any footage of the United fans protesting the Glazers from a couple of days ago? Weird that they show PSG's but not United's…

  6. I love Messi as a player and all but stop this nonsense bout this romantic return to Barcelona for him.If he really cared about Barcelona as much as the media like to pretend then he wouldn't have almost bankrupted them with his ridiculous salary

  7. PSG is the biggest club with the worse supporters. These mfs can’t lose a game and their fans not turn against them? Like dam. Barcelona had went thru a crazy time and it took way more than before fans came to protest.

  8. Messi is a legendary footballer, a role model for many youngsters
How to bankrupt a historic club, then move to a club to make most money before moving to a place to earn even more money.

  9. Wait… All these pundits are saying busquests can play for barca and messi cant? Roberto can play for barca and messi can't. 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 seriously funny. Just shut up guys.

  10. ESPN bros about Modrič (37) + Benzema (35) still great players, very useful in Real Madrid.

Messi to Barca: why would anyone do that?

All's left is clown Laurens licking his lips, shaking his head like ill donkey.

  11. Xavi is the one who wants him back. You guys are really not really not reading the room. Also, he has the highest assists and goals in League 1. Really do your research, fellahs.

  12. Finnally this shitshow will end. Messi was the biggest flop in history of transfers. If anyone believes Messi actually performed at a goat level, should actually watch the fking matches, everyone says stats because nobody cares about ligue 1. There is not a single person who says messi played amazing for psg and actually watched every match of psg this season. I watched 80% of their matches because i like neymar and it always feels the same, psg are playing in 10 men. I dont care about the world cup, he penaltied his way through that cup, in UCL he was abysmal for the last 8 seasons, check his stats in the QF SF, if u don t believe this. Conclussion is, watch ur goat in every match and then u can come with oppionions

  13. Personally I think Barca should sign Messi again. Him coming over would mean a financial nightmare for the club. It’ll be a fun ride to watch and I’m all for it!
