The best Sherlock
Croatian translation please!
I noticed North Fork sheriff Micah ( Paul Fix) at the beginning of the movie. He seems to show up on so many movies from the 30s, 40s, and 50s up to his role in "The Rifleman".
A bit of Trivia: Basil Rathbone was an expert swordsman and taught virtually every Hollywood Actor, including Errol Flynn.
Rathbone, also, in every movie he was in that had a sword fight, his character lost the fight.
I used to have fun with "(What Shall We Do With the) Drunken Sailor" at a gig. One verse went "Put him in the rack with the captain's daughter," after which a friend of mine in the bar would chime in with "I'd like to be the drunken sailor!" I'd then respond with "You've never seen the captain's daughter, you've never seen the captain's daughter, you've never seen the captain's daughter earlye in the morning!" I REALLY miss gigging.
I watched every Sherlock Holmes movie and read each of his novels you can find on the Net and in books, but I surely will watch this one again many thanks for posting 👍

Arthur conan doyle must be spinning in his grave.
Your AI colorization is getting better. This movie was much more watchable than other AI colorized films I've tried to watch…
Plus, you also gave a link to the movie in it's original B/W form… Congratulations CCC, you have really stepped up the game here. I am impressed and I thank you for your efforts.
and I just read that 悉泥客-SydneyMud also commented on the improved video quality.
@50:07 he says it.
would someone mind giving Sherlock a comb? Just to comb back his hair a little……please. . . .
Am perfectly happy with the colorized version, usually avoid it, the ones who are complaining can watch the black and white version, it does not take a rocket scientist my dear watson change the channel!
passing out pills, what was it?
I always liked Basil as Sherlock the best. It would be nice though if your subtitles were closer to what they are actually saying. Thanks for sharing this classic.
No, no, no. It's rather Pinkerton then Sherlock Holmes.
Divini
Apparently the comments this film attracted in its earlier appearance on YouTube have been removed. At that time, I commented that bombsights probably didn't resemble Omega photographic enlargers. In today's viewing, I note that the same enlarger appears later as an enlarger. And colorizing is a sort of bulldozing process that violates the mood the cameraman created in lighting for B&W.
Germans will shoot down one bomber and have the bomb sight.
A very enjoyable Sherlock Holmes movie.
No. Very nice quality. But the colour on people's faces is totally off.
Sexy pilot…..The building is wrongly numbered though; Holmes place of residence is 221 Baker Street. The ground floor would be 221A, whilst Holmes and Watson would live on the first floor, namely 221B.
Merci pour le partage!
In just the first few seconds of the movie… the roof's of the buildings, and the guy's coat standing there, changed colors more than five times. Leave black and white… black and white.
Thanks for Great Movie.
It's wrong: Basil Rathbone's Sherlock is black and white… it's just wrong in color.
Gracias
Bra film 👍

That explosion looked like government film from New Mexico USA. Layer, back in the castle, the men sound like competitive school boys. Aha! I'm smarter than you are! I think not! But I'm brilliant!! LoL
Elementary, Sir Brattlesby !
Welcome to colorization!!
Che delusione!!!!!!…in inglese anche no!!!!!!!!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks CCC
Yahhhhhhh! Sherlock Holmes!!!! Right ONNN!
Obrigado pelas postagens.
Grandes filmes.
Sou do Brasil .
Hi, existing channel fans, if you know, could you please kindly tell me what AI video enhancement and colorisation tool is used here. I have tried many for my old video projects. I really like the one used here. I asked, cos the channel owner as you can see very seldom responds, and or maybe it has already been answered before. If you want to know too, please kindly support this message.
