If he join any other league then would need around 6 month or a year to settle in it. There will be times when goals would dry up and it will leads to massive loss of confidence and would effect his world cup performance.
So for a better world cup he should not consider doing any experiment regarding his career before 1 year of world.should extend with psg and leave PSG after world cup.
Mbappe would be wise to play out his contract, rejecting any transfer moves. Doing so ensures him another €50-100 million and doesn’t cripple the club he joins.

The only reason why PSG are in this position in the league is because Neymar has been absent a lot from the league matches, Mbappe scores a lot of meaningless goals, I watched the match against Monaco after the Barca 4-1 thrashing and I couldn't believe how poor PSG were and I couldn't believe that this PSG beat Barca 4-1, Monaco played them off the pitch and won comfortably and even managed to cut Mbappe's space off, Neymar also apart from the Bayern matches where he was excellent hasn't been like the Neymar we all know after his injury lay off, he was not very good against City better than most but not his standard performance, I think he is just focused on being fit now for the Copa America. You would expect PSG to win the Ligue 1 title even without Neymar & Mbappe has been present for most of the season yet they are still in this position which shows you the bigger picture.
