Yaya Toure Racism from CSKA Moscow Fans



Yaya Toure had to play through monkey chants and racism in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League. Toure, from the Ivory Coast, donned the captain’s armband that reads «Say No to Racism.» He made the head official aware of the remarks that were being yelled at him. Russia is set to host the winter Olympics in Sochi and the World Cup in 2018.

  11. Geographically, yes, the major part of Russian territory is technically in Asia. But the main major cities are located in the European part, the part that extends up to Ural mountains. The Asian part of Russia is mainly Siberia, frozen thundra, gas reseves, oil deposits and some Mongolic tribes that still live in huts. Basically it's a desolate place. But Russia, culturally, is a European state, looking at History. The Asian territory was colonized, Russia started in Kievan Rus'(Eastern Europe).

  48. There is no need for Racism in Football. Unfortunately for CSKA I believe that they should be kicked out of UCL. I know it's not all the clubs fault but it may send a message to fans that there is no room for this type of behaviour at games.
