Huge props to Neymar, who is not getting the headlines as much as he deserves this season. Ney's work rate is much better this season – Can't recall the last time he did a successful slide tackle! Lol!!! I don't know if its the upcoming world cup or the fact that he is already 30 without BDO, or that his star status in the team has been eclipsed by Kylian's new contract, or a combination of all three, but i suspect he KNOWS (really really knows Lol) that he does not have the luxury of time as Kylian, nor the incomparable legacy of Leo to waste his talent any further. He means business this season, so long as he remains injury-free that is. The amount of goals and assists and creative plays per game he is turning out already this season is incredible (yeah, i know some will call the French league not as challenging, etc., but he wasn't this productive during his, arguably, best years – between 25-30 yrs of age). So, here is to Ney, the rejuvenated star that we all football purists want to see for the sake of football!
