£69B backed Consortium to bring superstar to Chelsea–Salah move on–green light to sign defender

Chelsea have been given the green light to try and sign Hakimi, Mahrez move to be made and Salah likely to leave Liverpool in Chelsea roundup…

Todd Boehly’s consortium will take over at Stamford Bridge this summer – and immediately pinch Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City.

Boehly is said to be worth £5billion, and his offer is backed by Clearlake Capital, who have assets worth over £60billion. And the prospective new owners want to make a massive impact in the summer transfer market.

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel would like to delve into that transfer kitty and add a couple of attackers to the squad that will have the ability to find the back of the net on a weekly basis, and Mahrez is that type of player.

He has netted 21 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions and is easily one of the most creative players in that Manchester City squad, and a player that Pep Guardiola really relies on.

However, his Man City contract expires at the end of the 2022/23 campaign which makes him susceptible to offers this summer, and reports understands there is a lack of progress in negotiating a new deal.

And City Xtra are now reporting that Chelsea have ‘studied the idea’ of signing him, But they will face stiff competition from Ligue 1 leaders PSG if they are to acquire his signature.

Look, Guardiola is the type of manager that gets what he wants, so if he tells the board to make sure that Mahrez is all signed up to stop all the speculation about his future, then that is what will happen.

Even though he has not agreed a new contract yet, we would be very surprised to see him depart the club at the end of the current season, he has been brilliant this season.

But it will be interesting to see if Boehly actually make a move to sign Mahrez if they take over the club in the summer.

It seems that Chelsea may have a chance to sign up one of their long-term targets as defender Achraf Hakimi is now looking to force his way out of PSG during the summer transfer window.

Now we all know that Chelsea are still in the midst of all the speculation about who will be buying the club in the coming days, and we all know that they are not able to get any transfer deals done until the club has sold.

But that has not stopped all the rumours, all the speculation and all the hype about the type of players that the new board may be open to bringing in to freshen up the squad and close the gap on Man City and Liverpool.

And it seems that one of the clubs long=standing interests may be coming onto the market sooner rather than later, as RMC Sport claims that Achraf Hakimi is ready to push for a move away from Paris Saint-Germain after just one season in France.

It is claimed that South American team-mates such as Neymar and Lionel Messi no longer talk to him, with the Moroccan defender not enjoying his football as starts to look for a way out.

We were massively interested in Hakimi well before he made that move to PSG just over a year ago, and probably believed that he would not be leaving anytime soon, but they will now keep a close eye.

Cesare Azpilicueta is seemingly on his way out of the club meaning that Thomas Tuchel will need to sign an adequate replacement that is already proven at the very highest level and can offer the same kind of quality that the Spaniard is able too.

Chelsea and Liverpool have been told that superstar attacker Mo Salah will leave the Premier League giants, according to former Tottenham striker Mido.

Egypt international Salah, whose current deal at Liverpool runs until the summer of 2023, has consistently expressed his desire to remain at Anfield amid ongoing talks over a new contract.

He has become one of the best players in world football during his stay at Anfield and has also become one of the clubs most iconic players in just a a few years, helping the club to Champions League and Premier League titles.

However, there has been much speculation in the media about his long-term future at the club as he has not been able to agree a new contract at Anfield, which is frustrating many associated with Liverpool and alerting a number of clubs too.

Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, and PSG are just a few clubs that are reportedly interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for the superstar, and they will be massively boosted by the last claims from Mido.

“I believe Salah will most likely leave Liverpool. He’s a great player and many clubs want his services,” Mido told the media according to KingFut.

“He can play at the top level for at least five more years.”

Regarding the upcoming World Cup qualifying playoff pitting the Pharaohs against Senegal on Friday in Cairo, Mido revealed who he would like to start upfront.
