Quite similar to Roberto de Zerbi at Brighton in the build ups from the back
This is something i Actually do in Football Manager when you have a low block possession it leaves alot of spaces in behind for a through ball or Ball over the Top.
Actually saw a video about his Tactics like over 5 years ago when he was still a PSG Academy Coach, people saying how it will revolutionize football glad he didn't just disappear like the new Brazilian Tactic.
Germany played with 71 depth against Italy 💀
Maybe when Thiago Motta wins the UCL then we start to give this tactic more respect?
"Disrupting" is a bit exaggerated. He has a very unique look on tactics, but it's hardly making a dent in his clubs performances.
He got fired after 10 games (2W, 3D, 5L) with Genoa, ended 16th with Spezia and currently sits 7th with Bologna, who got 9th place last season without him.
Great video! also thrilled to see some serie A team : )
Great analysis.
Can you review about allegri corto muso this 23/24 season?
Kieran McKenna at Ipswich plays very similar football
Most of these videos fail to mention an important detail. All these new age amazing managers work at relatively smaller clubs, and oppositions don't sit back against them. The biggest problem when they go to bigger clubs is breaking down low blocks.
Ggs in the chat
You have to do an analysis of Inter. They are top of the seria A for a reason
2 names for you: Rinus Mitchels and Johan Cruyff.
All I see is a football philosophy taught at la masia, he earned his stripes with Barca. Those are the fundamentals he built on, of course with a zest of influences from Bielsa and Mourinho.
Awesome video
Intriguing to learn how these relatively less prominent coaches (other than Guardiola, Ancelotti or Mourinho) are faring. Recently I watched videos on tactical approaches by the likes of Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen and Roberto Zerbi at Brighton and of course from Girona in Spain… Brilliant !! LOVE IT❤..!!👍

Try Feyenoord, Arne Slot has been a revelation for them.
A bit late on the analysis no? Now they keep losing and the Motta hype is dying down
i hope motta will go to juventus or roma to gain some real big italian teams experience and make the league interisting again
Do you use a specific software for making those animations for the tactics in the video? They're amazing
Mott’s to Barcelona!!
